Okay so I chose the “What’s in my Gullet” project. If I’m going to be completely honest, the last three things I drank were these in order of recently used to yesterday. This weekend was my roommate’s 21 birthday, so enough said about that. I had water after my first class since I woke up late and my roommate recently made coffee, which I don’t normally have. Normally I’ll just drink water or tea since I don’t drink soda or sugar drinks anymore. Funny enough it’s pretty easy to drop drinking soda. I compensate it by drinking juices here and there, but not often because it’s still not that healthy. Coffee is an occasion because for some reason it makes my stomach hurt and I have some leftover creamer to use.

Draw It
For this assignment. I chose “Draw it”. Pretty straightforward in what they were asking for. Which was to take an image and pretty much draw it.
So the artist I chose was Loish. One of my favorite artists and part of how I developed my style of drawing since I’m really into traditional applied art.
This is one of her pieces:
I really enjoy drawing faces and hair in particular, so I tried recreating the same thing minus tweaking a couple things here and there. I really hope to work for Disney or Pixar when I get older and become an animator. But I’ve expanded to working on graphic design and considered working in the gaming industry.

What’s in my Bag; Stuff
Assignment #3So here’s what I have in my bag today. Majority of the stuff that I have is with me on a regular basis minus swapping out a couple books here and there depending on the class I have that day. It’s interesting to see what the stuff in your bag says about you and reflects on your habits and personality.
So in my bag I have of course…
1) My laptop. I like taking notes on my computer because it’s easier to organize my work and assignments via digital.
* What it says about me: I like organization and I like using the digital resources to help keep track of my tasks and assignments in one place.
2) To the right, there is a stack of books and papers. They consist of my planner (College Hill Black Book), a Chegg coupon book I received awhile ago on campus, my College Hill Internship packet, “Vectors” book I grabbed for studying from CH, and my folder that I keep loose leaf papers so they don’t get crumpled and bent out of shape.
- I work as a Graphic Designer for College Hill Custom Threads so I keep the book on me since I have weekly meetings and homework assignments to do out of the book. Also explains why I have the CH planner, since I got that free from them.
*What this says about me: I like having my papers not crumpled or bent or creased so it reflects on slightly a meticulous peeve of mine. The Internship packet reflects on my interest in graphic design and working in the arts.
3) I have my array of digital devices such as my iPod Nano (older generation), my wireless mouse, Pokemon Pinball for Gameboy Advance, and my grumpcat headphones.
*What it says about me: I’m a gamer; I feel like that one is obvious. Also hence the League of Legends Mousepad of Nidalee (Champion in the game I frequently main).
4) Pen and Pencil and change. I counted and I accumulated $2.05 with that pile of coins. I don’t really know what it says about me because I just end up accumulating things in my bag since I travel with it as well.
5) The bag itself is like a handbag. I try and reduce the amount I have, so traveling is lighter. I haven’t used a real backpack with both shoulder straps since….Elementary. When I got to Middle School, I just had over the shoulder messenger bags and switched to purses. Probably not the best for my back or posture, but it’s what I’m used to
Assignment 2: Food
[I have no clue where this blog post is suppose to go and the content of the post is suppose to be, I’ll move it if it’s not suppose to be here]
So for my assignment I went on the internet and made a collection of foods with names starting from A - Z. When approaching this assignment, I had to consider who’s taste am I finding food for. Considering this assignment is for myself, the audience is for myself and the food picks are for myself as well. I considered there are generic foods that people can use like “S” for soup or “B” for bread, so I was trying to go for the more specific and abstract foods that aren’t commonly chosen with this assignment. Also I tried choosing food that I want to eventually eat or have eaten. I was forced on limited choices of foods when it came to letters like x or z, but a majority of them had at least 3 interesting choices. I think I’ve watched too much Food Network and food movies….
